Today is formal and I am not as excited as I used to be the days before. I paid my lunch bill and got my ticket and I think that the tickets were a little too overpriced. $15 for just being able to dance and get some free snacks. I think that they should have at least been $8. Anyways, I already got my dress and shoes, and everything, but I am not that excited anymore. I don't know why; I just don't want to go anymore.
I have to go because I already bought the ticket and shoes and dress, but I mean I am happy to go just not that happy or excited. I am a little excited to be able to see and dance with my friends, but they expect us to dress up, when we are going to be dancing all over the place in our dresses. I think that they shouldn't have such a strict dress code for the dance. I think it was kinda weird to have permission slips too.
My dress is blue on the top half and black on the skirt part. My dress isn't extremely fancy, but it is a little nice. It straps about three fingers wide, which is about the dress code. It's all covered up in the back and I think it looks really pretty. I got the dress and shoes from Forever 21, and my shoes are black flats with a little bow in the front.
The formal is at Duncan highschool and I think it is from 7-10pm. I don't think my dad is letting me stay that late, but I still will probably have a good time.
